Our client is a specialist insurance litigation legal practice, part of a larger group who supply legal and professional services to the insurance, travel, healthcare and related industries.
The highly respected team work with insurance companies and the Lloyd's market to deliver advice across the whole field of insurance law. They have developed carefully tailored packages to meet specific needs stretching from a traditional relationship to the provision of a bespoke in-house service.
They currently have an opening for a solicitor to represent the firm's clinets in the conduct of their Professional Indemnity claims, providing legal advice and assistance on issues of liability, damages and Policy cover in a professional manner.
Key tasks will involve managing a caseload of Professional Indemnity claims with a heavy construction professional bias. The successful candidate will be able to display success in construction litigation within professional indemnity, and have experience of policy coverage disputes, with particular emphasis on professional indemnity policies The role involves dealing with an existing caseload but also developing relationships and marketing the firm to attract new business. It is antcipated that the role on offer will suit a lawyer with more than 3 years' prior relevant experience, although candidates at all levels of qualification who can display a track record of success in this area will be considered.
